Fees  
  • $250 per person -- this includes easy to follow recipes, and dinner after class

The first class starts on the first date listed above and the last class is on the second date listed above, making for 5 classes in total. All classes start at 6pm and end at 9pm.

Our classes are workshop-style, and we keep our class size small, 5-6 people per class on first come first serve basis. We are located on Queens Quay near the Toronto Habourfront on a TTC Route and within walking distance from most offices in downtown Toronto.

Samosa Day  

Learn to make all varieties of samosas, from the traditional type to health baked spinach to cheese and chutney.

Paneer & Tofu Workshop  

In this workshop, we will focus on Paneer (Indian-style cheese) and Tofu (for vegans) by exploring how to make Paneer ourselves and use it in dishes like Palak Paneer/Tofu, Butter Paneer/Tofu and others.

South India day!  

The cuisine of Southern India -- learn how to make Uthappam, Dosa, Sambhar, Sambhar Powder, and other South Indian delicacies! All vegetarian of course.

Taste of the North  

Specialities of Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Mughlai dishes from Agra -- Shashi's hometown -- home of rich, royal Moglai dishes.

Feast of India  

The best of both worlds -- learn to make a combination of Northern and Southern dishes. We choose the most popular of dishes from the two great culinary traditions of the sub-continent for this new class!

Biryani Day

 

A whole seminar on making traditional vegetarian Biryani dishes! Biryani is a rice-based dish made with vegetables, spices, and somtimes nuts.

February 19, 2012 (Sunday): 2pm - 6pm


International Day!  

In this workshop, we will focus on vegetarian cuisine from around the world: Spanakopita, Veggie Moussaka, Biryani, etc

March 4, 2012 (Sunday): 2pm - 6pm


Fees  
  • $75 per person (4-hour saturday or sunday seminar)
  • $65 per person (3-hour weekday seminar)

For a limited time, take any 5 seminars for $250!
